An enjoyable exterior living space and interior updates were in store for this renovation.
The plans for updating the exterior allowed for the space to add onto the back portion of the house, giving the kitchen and laundry area additional breathing room. The existing exterior wall was replaced with an engineered steel beam which was made to be flush with the ceiling, giving it a seamless finish. New windows and doors were added to the space giving the kitchen enjoyable views to the back yard. Pot lights were placed throughout the new spaces including the family room where an update to the grand fireplace wall was underway.
The growth to the kitchen made a larger island possible with plenty of circulation space. White, shaker style custom cabinetry, light countertops and brand new appliances give this kitchen a brilliant shine. An added walk-in pantry and updates to the more spacious laundry room make storage problems obsolete. The new windows and patio door on the new exterior wall give the kitchen great views of the new outdoor living space.
The exterior patio begins with the concrete pad and is shielded from the sun by the new roof structure. New columns with a stacked stone base match the fireplace surround and stucco cladding continues into the ceiling details. The new double sided fireplace feature can be enjoyed from the comfort of the new shelter or from the poolside on summer evenings. A new fan fixture is installed over the seating to keep you cool on the hot summer days while the covered hot tub area has 360-degree views of the yard and backyard water feature. The outdoor kitchenette and wall mounted T.V. make entertainment a breeze in this grand exterior living space.
