General:  Recessed lights provide general lighting in the foyer.
Accent:  Utilize accent lights to highlight pictures, furniture and collectibles.

the Family/Living Room

Fireplace:  Two adjustable accent lights focus attention on the artwork and fireplace.
Artwork:  Accent lights can be built-in to highlight collectibles and decorations.
General:  Provide even illumination by installing recessed fixtures.
Walls:  Wall washing one or more walls can expand the room and provide general lighting.

the Dining Room

Table:  Recessed downlights can supplement the chandelier or provide direct task lighting over the table.
Buffet:  Recessed fixtures above a buffet highlight the serving surface.
Walls:  Wall washing a vertical surface or draperies adds interest and expands the space.
Art Objects:  Accent lighting highlights artwork and provides circulation lighting.
