Start Your Reno

We provide you with the necessary process in creating your dream space. Review our renovation guide below,  that includes an 8-step program for you to refer to whether you’re a first time renovator, or an experienced renovation client.

Initial Planning & Research

Create a list of your wants & needs and what you expect from your renovation. This could include a preliminary design of your own, magazine pictures, brochures of products etc. Discuss your availability for possible start dates and start thinking about your budget for the overall project. Once you’re ready, email or call our offices to set up your first meeting with CCR!

First Meeting with CCR

Based on your availability and schedule, we meet with you at your home to discuss and expand on your renovation ideas. A documentation of your house through pictures & measurements will be taken so we can create your “dream” renovation, and prepare for the secondary meeting with you.

Design & Quotation Development

From your wants, needs, design ideas and our expertise, we design a layout that best suits you. From this we create an estimate including a full break-down from start to finish of the renovation process that also includes allowances regarding your budget and possible materials you may use. Included in your quotation folder, we also provide you with our insurance, WSIB and reference information for your documentation.

Secondary Meeting

At your earliest convenience, we review your estimate & design at your home, which is based on our first meeting that included your research and overall vision. A full review of your quotation, a walk-through of our design, what you will expect from CCR Building, our commitments to you and any questions or concerns you may have will be thoroughly answered within this meeting.

Permits, Applications & Inspections

Before the construction process begins, we co-ordinate all permit applications, mandatory blueprint drawings and any required engineering needed. During the construction process, our site supervisors are to schedule and confirm all site inspections needed throughout the renovation.

Construction Begins

One of our highly qualified staff members will be assigned and dedicated to your specific project as your site supervisor. Our office job coordinator will also be available to you for construction updates, selection choices, job updates & questions regarding your renovation.  A customer site binder is also provided on all our renovation sites, which includes permit’s, drawings, contact numbers and any other updates regarding your project.

Construction Summaries

In order for us to keep you informed and budget oriented, we provide mid-construction meetings, to discuss your up to date account & review of your project scope. This enables us to give you a job break-down thus far, and keeps the line of communication open for any questions or changes that you may have.

Renovation Completion

A final meeting is conducted which includes a final job break-down, after pictures are taken and walk through of your newly renovated space, to ensure you are satisfied with all the work that has been completed. CCR Building stands behind all our work, and are always available for questions before, during & after your renovation.
