CCR Building & Remodelling – London, Ontario

2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Shadow
In 2010 we raised $7,500 for the Canadian Diabetes Association. Their purpose is to “lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while working hard to find a cure.” We had tremendous support in our fight to raise money for Diabetes, and our appreciation to all vendors, family and friends in ongoing!

For the second year in a row we hosted our event at Maple Ridge Golf Course with a total of 88 guests to show their support for CCR Building & the Canadian Diabetes Association. London’s Country Radio Station BX93 and Summer Cruiser Girl, Kelly Peter, donated not only a prize, but attended registration with music and publicity for our event! We couldn’t have asked for better weather and a better venue to have our second Golf Tournament. Click here to check out pictures taken from our event!

Our vendors from around London, Stratford, Ingersoll and surrounding areas attended our event as well as generously donated online to our “Summer Serge” page where online donations were accepted. This year we branched out for prize donations and received an amazing response from companies around London who wanted to be involved in our event. Click here for a complete list of vendors and prize supporters.

Coordinator, Robin Farley attended our registration period and also received our oversized cheque for our incredible donation. She also made an amazing speech about the history of the Canadian Diabetes Association, and expressed her gratitude for our support! Most Londoners are aware of this organization, and might have made a personal donation to them directly. What some people aren’t aware of is their location downtown and the amount of history is provided to us regarding diabetes, insulin and Sir Banting himself. CCR had the opportunity to tour the home and learn more about what we are fighting for. We encourage you to take an hour to visit and learn more about this cause.

Please visit their website for more information about Diabetes, and use their contact below to take a visit around our very own London Canadian Diabetes Association location.
